Eastern Radiologists, Breast Imaging Network

The “Network” is a unique system designed to deliver state-of-the-art, expert breast imaging services to the geographically widespread, diverse population of eastern North Carolina. Each of the 12 facilities in the network forward images to the Eastern Radiologists Breast Imaging Center for interpretation by physicians. Diagnostic cases are directed by the on-site board certified radiologists and then sent for interpretation to the BIC. This allows us to provide local access to care while our patients benefit from the experience of the breast imaging team.
